As they were running, Shori turns left and shouts to them.

He just stood there with a cap covering his face , hands in his pockets. His opponent attacked him with full dash. All he did was to dodge him and he crashed onto the wall. IN THE WAITING HALL.

Tsuyoshi walks towards his teammates with drinks that he bought from the vending machine. He passes out to each of them. Shori looks at the unopened drink can with a weird an unsatisfied face.
Tsuyoshi : whats wrong, shori? U dont like the flavour?
Shinichi: shori doesnt drink cold drinks..
Tsuyoshi: eh? Really? Gomen gomen. U can just heat them up eith ur lighter (straight forward)
Shori: (evil face) yeah.. maybe i shall make u as my hot steamy desert
Tsuyoshi: geh....
Natsuki: (silent)......
MEANWHILE
Kyoya walks hastely towards the exit while grabbing Yuu's hand. Hikari tags along behind them. Both yuu and hikari has a confusing look on their face. Kyoya puts on a worried expression.
Yuu: oniichan? Why r we going home? The tournament is still going on..
Kyoya: (forced smile) w-we can come again next time, ne?
Yuu: demo... oniichan...
Suddenly a huge explosion from the arena echoed into the hallway. It shocked the three of them but they continued walking with a faster pace. They are almost to exit the hall but suddenly the steel door makes it way down to close the exit. The three of them dashes towards the exit before the steel door traps them inside. Yuu releases her ice magic and forms ice bricks under the steel door. Alas, her ice are not strong enough the stop the steel's power, making her ice to break off easily. Hikari waves her both arms forward, forcing her wind to push Yuu through the small room for her to escape.
Thud!
The steel door closes, trapping Hikari and Kyoya in. Only Yuu manages to come out. Yuu stood up as she heard her brother calling for her from inside.
Kyoya : yuu!! Daijoubu ka? Yuu! Answer me!
Yuu: oniichan...
Kyoya: are u alright? no injuries?
Yuu: im fine oniichan.. but.. wht shld i do...
Hikari: yuu chan, can u hear me?
Yuu: hai..
Hikari: remmebr junhao san? The chinese lady tht u met befre?
Yuu: umm.. i think i remmebr her face..
Hikari: sou. Go to her. Tell her whats happnng here.
Yuu: but but.. wht shld i tell her?
Hikari :mou.. just inform her whats going on. She will investigate abt this case later on. Important thing is the safety of the people here. Hurry.
Yuu: ah.. hai.
Yuu ran away fearing anyone would follow her.
Hikari : telling a chrome police officer is bettrt than telling a normal police officer, deshou?
Hikari glanced at kyoya who's looking at her closely.
Hikari : [ah.. shimatta... i used my magic infront of him...]
Kyoya: agreed. Well, we better go back to our seats befre anyone find us here. (stood up)
Hikari: um.. okay...
Kyoya: i didnt know tht u can use magic.
Hikari: well.. not many knew abt this.. r u suprised, koizumi senpai?
Kyoya: nope. Bcoz i knew it had to be u somehow.
Hikari: eh?
ON THE OTHER SIDE.
Shori and his friends are peeping through a small hole to see whats happening in the arena. Theyre in a kitchen because shori wanted to boil his cold drink.
Tsuyoshi: ah.. cant see a thing.. the smoke still hasnt clear up ..
Shinichi: the rest of the participants are trapped in the waitong room. Looks like someone has set this up.
Tsuyoshi: what and who and why?
SHinichi: ure asking such an obvious question that noone can answer right now.
Tsuyoshi: (sigh) so we're just lucky that we're not trapped with them... (looks at Shori)
Shori: yeah. U shld thank me later. (sips hois boiling water) Now, we need to know who r the people behind this.
For a while natsuki had a very panic expression.
Natsuki: ano, gomen nasai!!
The three of them look at her.
Natsuki: it must be becoz the King has found out abt the missing book.. and now.. they.. they wanna ransom.. or hostage the people.. or.. or..
Shori places his hand on Sabaku Natsuki's shoulder. She gasped.
Shori: no. I dont think its because of that. And i dont think the kingdom people would hostage the citizens because of that. Im sure its becoz of something else.
Tsuyoshi: like what?
Someone coughs to the microphone.
"Er.. 1 2 3 test test.."
"Its on boss!"
"Eh! Why dont u tell me earlier. Gyahahahahahhahahaa (evil laughter) dear citizens, this day just happened to be ur unlucky day ever. Im conveying to u my deepest apologies but TODAY SHALL BE UR LAST DAY LIVING IN THIS WORLD. GYAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA!!
Everyone freaked out.
"SILENCEE!! Oi, connect this to the display tv. Well well, theres only one way u can save urself from being killed today. Oiiiiiii, can u hear mee, King of Helencia Oukoku!!! I want that book. The Diary of a Vampire. Im giving u 3 hrs to hand over that ancient book to me. If u do so, i shall release ur beloved citizens without any injuries after."
The crowd whispers amongst themself. They are scared, in fear, frightened.
Shori: so, its actually the opposite. They want that book too. U can be rest assured, sabaku san.
Natsuki: but but... the book is with us.. if the king cannot bring the book within 3 hrs, the citizens will be killed. (panic)
Tsuyoshi: heheh! And thts the main reason why we're here.
Natsuki: eh? (confused)
Shori: its not to win this tournament right?
Tsuyoshi: sou da. My guild master sensed that something is wrong abt this tournament. So i volunteered to come here.
Shinichi: and the reason u chose us is so that the people behind tis wont regard us as threat since we 're just highs schoolers.
Natsuki: why.. do u guys... know so much...
Shori: hehe (smiles) bcoz we're friends. friends dont need to speak up whats in their mind. They just have to feel it from their heart and read from their action.
Tsuyoshi: u said it, shori.
Natsuki: (smiles) nakama.. ka.
The arena is in total silence. Every one remains seated on their seat. Man in black with a face gear hiding their faces stood in a circle in the arena, pointing their guns towards the audience. Suddenly one baby cried breaking the silence. The mother tried to calm the baby down. One of the man aimed towards the baby and shoot. Everyone shriek when they heard the shooting sound. Hikari jumps of her seat and releases her wind, shielding the baby. The bullet fell down on the ground making a ching sound. Hikari stood elegantly on the steel railing.
Hikari : i think u shld keep up to ur promises. U said that u would let us go unharmed.
"(laughs) i said "after" not while waiting."
Hikari: if so is the case, lets play a game while waiting.
Hikari jumps off the into the arena. He has a confident smile drawn up on her face. Everyone murmured amongst themselves.
Tsuyoshi: ahh!! The girl earlierr!
Shori: hamano!!
Tsuyoshi: (looks at Shori) u look worried
Shori: geh.. what r u pouting for.. of coz i would be worried.. shes my classmate da ze.. classmate..
Tsuyoshi: hmmph! Thts not convincing! (folds his arms)
Shori: gosh.. this is what it takes speaking to a baka..
Natsuki: .... nows not the time for that deshou...
Shori's phone rings. He looks at the screen. The name "kyoya san" appears. He flinched.
Shori: (hesitant) ah.. hai, kyoya san..?
Kyoya: where r u?
Shori: um.. etto.. ano.. somwhere in central city..?
Kyoya: dont lie, shori kun. I know that ure here too.
SHori: geh...
Kyoya : whatever is it, Yuu managed to escape and shes trying to find help from the chrome police station. I guess i can ask u for help to assist Yuu's friend out there?
Shori: (glanced outside) heh. Sure thing, kyoya san. U can count on us.
Kyoya: arigatou. Though i have few questions to ask u later.
Shori: (sweatdrop)
Shori keeps his phone and face his friends. He has a determined smile on his face.
Shori: lets rock thos arena down.
Tsuyoshi: now ure talking abt it! (clenches)
Shinichi: heh (smile)
Shori: u would wanna join the party, do u, sabaku san?
Natsuki: haii!
Hikari points towards them.
Hikari: the game is each of u shall have 5 times of shooting. U will try and shoot the wall. If ur bullet managed to reach the wall, u will increase 5 minutes of the limit time. But of u dont u shall add 5 minutes. Understood?
"Heh sounds easy"
Hikari: since im the only defender. U shall only attack one person at a time.
"Wait up! We'll join too"
Hikari turns and saw 3 boys and a girl stood by the entrance of the arena. She recognized the boy that she bumped on earlier but she doesnt recognize the other 2 since they had hood and a cap covering. Kitayama Tsuyoshi tightens both his grip. When he saw Hamano Hikari, his starts sweating and unable to move or speak.
Hikari: (looks at Tsuyoshi with an innocent confuse face)
Tsuyoshi: co- (voice breaks)
Shori and Natsuki sighed. Some of the audience snorted despite the danger they are in. Shori steps forward and lits his lighter.
Shori: let the party began.
Hikari: [this person's voice spunds familiar]
MEANWHILE
Yuu tries to catch her breath while resting her hand on her knees. She looks around. She has no idea where can she find JunHao, the chrome police officer. She continues searching. She understood that she doesnt have that much time to waste. She stops again to catch her breath. Her mind jammed. To release her tension, she stomps on the ground making the place where she stomps covered in ice.
"Waah! That is such a cold stomp! Nihihi!"
Yuu looks ahead and she saw a girl in a plumber style jeans. She has two plaits which ends are tied back to its roots. She advanced towards Yuu.
"Tch tch tch. U shldnt vent ur frustrations to the ground, ya know. The ground is delicate enough. Demo, if u make it angry it can hurt u very badly"
Yuu: ano.....
"Im Cheng Mai Hao. U can call me Mai, yoroshiku ne"
Yuu: mai...hao...? Sounds like ive heard that name befre..
"Maiii, where have u run off to...?"
Yuu: junhao saan!!
JunHao: hmm? Ah, ure that girl with Kiryuu Shori the other day. Fancy meeting u here.
Yuu: (grabs JunHao's sleeves) JunHao san, taihen desu!
JunHao: eh?
AT THE ARENA
The audience had found the courage to cheer on the high school students who volunteered themselves to increase the time limit. The four of them manage to shield the wall from being shot. The audience are amazed with their speed and ability. One man entered the arena.
"Keh. We've been wasting time here. All of u, come down here and shoot the children!"
Hikari: eh! Thats against the rule that we've agreed!
Tsuyoshi: sou da ze. Thts cheatin- (voice cracks)
"Dont listen to the children. Come here at once and shoot everyone! Gyahahahahahaha!!"
As the men start shooting aimlessly, Hikari tried to widen her wind ability to cover the audience. Kiryuu Shori dashed within the shooters and topples them one by one. In that panic state, suddenly Kyoya stood up with his earphone im his left ear and screamed
Kyoya: IMA DA!!!
The ground in the arena started grumbling and think sand brick emerged from beneath the ground, surrounding the shooters and unabling them to shoot towards the audience. One of the bullet managed to pass over the sand barrier and it hit on a tank that contains water supplies for the arena. The tank burst and water gushes out of it. People started panicking, running towards the exit. Koizumi Yuu steps forward and release her ice magic and it frozes the water. JunHao instructed her comrades to arrest the people that are within the sand barrier.
Mai walks towards Yuu who is panting for air.
Mai: nihihi. Thats how u use ur ice magic. Ice is delicate too but super strong once it's angered.
Yuu : (looks at the sand barrier) sou da ne.
Mai: (stretches her hand)
Yuu: (receives it) Mai dakke? Koizumi Yuu desu. Yoroshiku onegaishimassu.
Kyoya ran towards Yuu and hugged her.
Kyoya: im glad ure okay, yuu. Ure splendid today. Im so proud of u!
Yuu: oniichan... (blushes) im happy but... its embarassing to do it in public...
Kyoya: i dont care. I love u, yuu!
Hikari: ii ne, yuu chan! U got a hug from the famous Koizumi senpai!
Yuu: well.. he is my brother...
Tsuyoshi: yoshi! Glad thats over.
Shori: yeah.. lets get out of here befor-
Before Shori could finish his sentence, someone grabbed his shoulder. He turned around. His face turned blue as he sees the person holding hia shoulder. The person smiles.
"Ure coming with me, Shori kun."
Shori: r..ry..ry.. RYOKI SAN?
