Koizumi Yuu and Kiryuu Shori are in a pinch position. They are locked in an empty dark room. Yuu's face shows that she's scared and feeling cold. Shori pulls over a big sheet and flung it on her in such a way that it rested nicely on her head. Yuu, with her shocked face, looked at Shori. She cant really see him since its very dark. Shori grabbed her arm to indicate that she's not alone. Though the sheet serves as a barrier between her arm and his palm, she could feel the warmth of his touch.
Shori : Dont worry. We will definitely come out of here.
Yuu felt a little bit enlighten. She curls herself under the sheet to make herself warmer. Warm with the existance of Shori by her side and warm because of his touch.
2 DAYS AGO
Basketball Game will be starting in a few moments. Kiryuu Shori and Fukushima Shinichi is standing amongst the audience.
Shinichi : (looks at Shori)
Shori : (looks at Shinichi)
Shinichi : I knew u would
Shori : (cuts off) yeah yeah. I know wht ure gonna say.
Shinichi : (smiles)
Both of them are standing at the front of the audience. He can spot his class's bench and members. But he can only see the bench, without any players nor the coach. The other team has already come inside the court. They are either drinking their water bottle, tying their shoelaces. Their coach is giving his last advice to his players. Shori's phone vibrated. He fished out his phone from his side pocket and tapped it open and read the message that he just received.
"Kiryuu sama. Please come downstairs"
Says the message.
As Shori turns around, heading towards the stairs. Another message comes in.
"With Fukushima"
The two boys head downstairs and they were welcomed by loud cries.
IN THE MEAN TIME
Hikari : hurry hurry
Yuu : slow down Hikari chan
Hamano Hikari grabs Koizumi Yuu's hand and head to the gym A where basketball game is taking place. When they arrived there, they were out of breath.
Yuu : I thought ure only interested in outdoors games.
Hikari : Basketball is an outdoor game.
Yuu : Thats streetball
Hikari : Well this game is worth watching. (smiles excitedly)
Yuu : ??
Hikari : Hora mite (points out) that our class participants!!
Yuu looks at the court. 6 boys entered the court and settles at the bench. The opponent had already finished warming up. One boy from the opponent team comes up to them.
"Who is the point guard player?"
"Ore da"
To the 2 girls amazement, Kiryuu Shori stepped forward and receives the boy's handshake.
Shori : Yoroshiku onegaishimassu (smiles)
Hikari : eeeh?? Maji??
Yuu : thats the guy that we met before.. umm.. kiryuu Shori kun deshou..?
Hikari : Sou sou!! Its a shock that he's playing. (smiles) Now i really cant miss this game.
Yuu : Why?
Hikari : Just look.
The referee blows his whistle indicating the first 10 minutes game is about to start. The referee shouts
"Tip off!!"
Shinichi got the first ball. He dribbles it and shoots it to Shori. Shori caught it, runs through the court and passes it smoothly into the net. The ball didnt even touch the goal railing. 2 points are added to Ao team. Everyone cheered. Shori comes back to the middle of the court and high-5 Shinichi.
Yuu : sugoii! (amazed)
Hikari : Deshouu! They are the historical hitotsu ryu (one dragon) pair.
Yuu : Hitotsu Ryu??
Hikari : Hora. A dragon is long right? And how does a dragon moves?
Yuu : Slithering in the mid air with its body while the head takes the lead and the tail helps in coordinating the movement??
Hikari : Sono tori da! The head and the tail works together in the smooth movement of the body. Did u see their passes?
Yuu : Very smooth.
Hikari : Sou! Fukushima is the head, taking lead of the ball. His passes to him is the body, very smooth and never misses, connecting to the tail. Kiryuu sama is the tail, receiving his passes and slides it to the net. Try and look at their movements. You'll see a moving dragon.
Yuu concentrates at the Hitotsu Ryu pair movements. A boy passes his ball to Shinichi. He caught it and passes it to Shori who in turn makes a shot. Another 2 point is added into the scoreboard.
Hikari : Do u know everyone who knew them before calls him Kiryuu sama? With the sama?
Yuu : (waits for the answer)
Hikari : Because Kiryuu sama is a great leader. He leads the class in everything. He's excellent in studies so he conducts a special study group which consists of the whole class. He almost took the basketball team to the Inter-Mid under 12 category but both of them quit in the summer of our 2nd year of middle high school of Helencia Gakuen.
Yuu : Quit?
Hikari : Sou da.. everyone was heartbroken and disappointed to such an extent that his team want to forfeit the semi final of Inter-Mid But...
############## FEW YEARS BACK ###############
Shori punched his team mates so they got in a fight. They punched and kicked each other till they were out of energy and finally all fall on the ground flat on their back. Suddenly they all laughed including the poker faced Shinichi (though he only chuckles)
"Arigatou Kiryuu uve made me realize something"
"Not 'me'. Its us oii"
"Sou da"
Shori sat up and looked at them with a confuse face. By then the other classmates has just arrived there to stop them from fighting.
"Kiryuu.... u actually can have interest in something eh? I thought u only play basketball because ure good at it while having no interest in it."
Shori : sonna. U actually think me to be someone like that?
"Wari wari. Since u showed no interest expression and just quit as u wish"
Shori : I.... actually have an injury that i cant play basketball anymore.. so.. thats why i quit.. sorry for not telling u guys. I thought if i just quit, u guys will be fine"
"Baka. (smacks Shori's back) of course we wont be fine. We're team mates right?"
"U urself were pretty much shock when we want to forfeit the match werent u?"
"Dont worry Kiryuu! We will win Inter Mid for u"
Shori : no!! (smiles) for us!!
All : Osuuuu!!!!
The 5 of them cried among themselves. The other classmates who were watching couldnt help but feel sentimental for them. One of them started running towards the crying group while screaming
"Kiryuuu samaaa"
His movement is contagious. Soon everyone flock around the basketball team.

Yuu : Even someone as awesome as him can have that side of personality.
Hikari : True. Since we never see him in any trouble or problems in life. But actually he does have and he hides it from others.
Yuu : (spontanious) kakkoi na.
Hikari jolted and she looks at Yuu who's resting her chin on both of her palm. She looks at Hikari's strange expression. She immediately realizes and her face blushes.
Yuu : ah...... its... its.. n-not as what ur th-thinking.. (flustered)
Hikari : (smiles naughtily) hehe. I didnt say anything.
Shinichi caught the ball that Shori passes and he makes a perfect 3 pointer shoot. The match won by team Ao with the leading mark 118- 97. The whole class 1A cheered and ran down to celebrate it on the spot. Shori can help but smile proudly.
"You have grown this much, Kiryuu Shori. I hope ull continue to amuse me more"
Said a 3rd year student while leaving the gym.
Under the chaos of happiness, Shori caught sight of Hikari on the audience bench. She waves at him. His eyes suddenly locked on the girl next to her, Koizumi Yuu. Their eyes met. At that moment, everything vanishes. Nor can they hear anything. Its just a silent empty moment only the two of them share.

Days passed by and its time for the actual day. Everyone had waited for this day to come.
"Eeehhh!! The Kaichou is Kuhouin Ryoki oujisama????"
Together with everyones excitement, this news spread like fire that got caught on fuel.
Shori dash to Student Council Room as soon as he heard the news. He flung the door open. There he saw the eldest Prince of Helencia Gakuen, Kuhouin Ryoki, standing by the window. He didnt even flinch or show any shocked expressioon when the door was flung open. He looked at Shori and smile.
Shori : ... I didnt expect u to be the Seitou Kaichou this year...
Ryoki : Yare yare Kiryuu Shori kun. U look much elder than before and more intelligent but where have ur manners been?
Shori : ah.. gomen (closes the door)
Ryoki : You should have gotten the hint when u see Kyoya as the fuku kaichou. Aand when i appointed u as the executive member of the council.
Shori : so it was u who made me the executive member.
Ryoki : arent u proud of urself?
Shori : Zenzen.
