Chapter 12

"Hora mite, ano onna no ko"
"Dare dare"
"Kawaiii"

The boys fixed their gaze across the long dining table that was set outside. Kiryuu Shori too turns his gaze and he saw two angels walking through the red carpet. He dropped his plate. Before he could look at the broken plate, something attract his attention.

Kyoya : Yuu, you're looking very pretty today.
Yuu : arigatou oniichan.
Ryoki : White dress suits u perfectly, Yuu.
Yuu : (blushes) Gokigenyou Ryoki Oujisama. (bows)
Ryoki : May I hand this dance, hime chan? (lifts his hand)
Yuu : Hai!

As Kuhouin Ryoki, the prince dances around with Koizumi Yuu, younger sister of Koizumi Kyoya who is his bestfriend, Shori just couldnt take his eyes off of them.

Hikari : Kirei deshou Yuu chan wa.
Shori : (fascinated) sou da.. ah!!(realizes) since when r u here?
Hikari : (laughs) where's Fukushima kun? He's always with you though.
Shori : There by the fountain.
Hikari : Ne Kiryuu sama..
Shori : Nn?
Hikari : ah.. ie.. nande monai desu.
Shori : ah..sou..

Suddenly, someone bumped into him. More like was pushed onto him.

Shori : Daijoubu?? (grabs)
Yuu : (looks towards Shori) G.. gomen nasai...

Ryoki bows to Shori as if he's giving his dance partner to him. Shori looks the troubled Yuu.

Shori : Im depressed for having to repeat some'one's word. But white dress suits you, Koizumi Yuu.
Yuu : (blushes) Suits.. looks good on u too.
Shori : Really? Though i was thinking of coming with hakama.
Yuu : (laughs) Jodan deshou.
Shori : honto da yo.
Yuu : Kiryuu kun, u have known my brother since u were small?
Shori : ah! (nods) thats why i was shocked when i heard he had a sister. Plus the same age as me.
Yuu : Maybe if i had lived with my brother, i would have met you.
Shori : U were in an accident before?
Yuu : Hai. And I was the only survivor. Both my parents passed away during the accident... is what they told me. I cant remmebr anything beyond that. I cant remember my parents face nor the accident. Not even when i was small.
Shori : So lets make new memories.
Yuu : eh?
Shori : Make new memories so u wont forget it next time. Cherish this moments while u still can. Every minute is a treasure. U would wanna remember this moment that ure spending with ur loved ones.
Yuu : Hai!!
Shori : So to be part of the memories that ure making, may i have this dance?
Yuu : My pleasure.

Both of them dances through the crowd. They look compatible with each other. Their height, their movement, their happy faces.

Shinichi : Shori look. Its like Misaki and Tetsu.. (realizes)
Hikari : Ahem. Shori is the one you're referring to.
Shinichi : (walks away)
Hikari : Matte yo. Who is this Misaki and Tetsu that you just mentioned? Is Misaki the Missing Princess Kuhouin Misaki??
Shinichi : just act like i didnt say anything.
Hikari : How can I? Ure always standing with Kiryuu sama while looking at other people? So.. who is this Tetsu guy that u see when u look at Kiryuu sama?

Shinichi turns around and held Hikari on her chin. His face is almost touching Hikari's face.

Shinichi : Omae ni kankenai yo.

He left her. Left her blushing to her ears. She slumped to the ground.

Hikari : (blushes)wh.. what is that..... for?

Yuu and Shori has became tired of dancing so they went to the loooong dining table to have a bite. Suddenly someone tugged on Yuu's dress.

"Oneesama?"
Yuu : eh?

It was a primary school boy who also attends Helencia Gakuen, the third son of the King, Kuhouin Haruki.

Shori : Haruki kun
Haruki : Shori oniichan.
Shori : Koizumi Yuu da. Kyoya san no imouto da.
Haruki : ahh. Gomen nasai (bows)
Yuu : (flustered)eh ah.. no.. ii desu, Kuhouin Haruki ouji sama. (bows)
Haruki : ahh. Koizumi Yuu oneesama doesnt have to bow, youre elder.. (bows)
Shori : hai. Hai. You two (holds on Yuu's shoulder) This onee sama looks just like Misaki darou.
Haruki : Hai (excited) can I call you oneesama??
Yuu : eh.. no.. im just a normal citizen.. im not even rich.. umm..
Shori : (laughs) baka. Haruki doesnt know the difference between a normal person and himself.
Haruki : White dress suits u oneesama.
Yuu : A...arigatou... [why are these people saying the same thing to me....]

AFTER QUITE A WHILE

Kiryuu Shori runs into the big mansion and goes to one of the rooms. He opens the door and he finds

Yuu : Kiryuu kun..?
Shori : Koizumi! Are you okay? Where does it hurt? Your feet?
Yuu : ?? (confused)
Shori : eh?
Yuu : Im fine Kiryuu kun. Im not hurt.
Shori : eh.. but... i heard... i mean.. someone said that ure hurt?
Yuu : eh? Hikari chan told me to wait in here.

Both of them put on a puzzled face. Suddenly the lights went off and the doors banged. Koizumi Yuu shriek out of shock. To calm her down, Shori pulled a sheet and covers Yuu with it.

Yuu : ...ano...
Shori : Dont worry. We will definitely come out from this place.

There was a total silence between them. Not even their breathing could be heard. Not even Yuu's fast heartbeat could be heard. From the deep of her heart, she had wished that he wont hear it.
Shori let out a big sigh. He stood up.

Yuu : Kiryuu kun!!
Shori : Dont worry. Im here. Im just gonna check the door if its locked.
Yuu : (unsettled)
Shori : umm... then... (took out his necktie and tied it on Yuu's wrist) lets go together.
Yuu : (nods) Nn.

Yuu stood up and follows Shori towards the door. He tried to open it but the door wont budge. It was locked.b

Shori : [it feels like magic is being used...]
Yuu : It cant open??
Shori : No it cant but.. lets try another way.
Yuu : Another way??
Shori : yeah.

Shori opens the balcony door. The wind on the other side of the Big Mansion is strong.

Yuu : Are we gonna jump??
Shori : (laughs) baka. There a secret door from the balcony leading to the next room. Come.

Shori grabs Yuu's hand and he pulled Yuu to the door leading to the next room.

Yuu : [his hand is..... hot.. i like it...]
Shori : [her hand is cold... is it because of the wind??]

Once they entered the room, closing the door behind them they didnt release each others hand. In the darkness, Yuu hopes that he'll continue holding her hand as she find comfort from his warm hand. She also hopes he doesnt notice her fast heartbeat and her blushing face. Shori doesnt seems to let go of her hand. But as they walked into the big room, they passed by a big photo frame on the wall. Though with the little moonlight that shone into the room through the window, they both could see the picture.

Kiryuu Shori didnt even budge. He is in his own world as he is looking into the photo. Koizumi Yuu glance into the photo. It was an elegant photo indeed. The King and Queen sitting next to each other on their throne. A young 5 years old boy with greyish hair was sitting on the Queen's lap. On the Queen'side, there stood a. young little girl around 9 years old in a beautiful white dress that fits her shoulder length silk coloured hair. The eldest son of the couple, a boy with ear level length pure white hair stood behind the King with his hand on the King's shoulder. Yuu froze. She couldnt move. She was too amazed with the wonderful photo.
